§ 6
What we do · § 6 of 6

How we settle

Escrow, inspection, insured transport, documents. Step by step, in the order it happens.

§ 6.1

Order of settlement

  1. Contract

A written purchase agreement: goods by serial number, price, escrow terms, inspection scope, delivery terms, governing law.

  2. Escrow

Funds are placed with a notary in the EU or an escrow agent both parties accept. Inspection is scheduled once the deposit is confirmed.

  3. Inspection window

At the storage location, by the buyer or an agent the buyer names. Scope as defined in the contract — typically visual inspection, packaging and serial-number verification. The result is recorded in an inspection protocol signed by both sides.

  4. Release

The signed protocol is the release instruction. Funds are released to the seller; goods are released to the carrier.

  5. Transport

Insured for the invoiced value under Institute Cargo Clauses (A). Carrier appointed by the buyer or by us, as the contract states. Incoterms named in the contract.

  6. Documents

Commercial invoice · Packing list · Serial list · Inspection protocol · Transport document · Export declaration where applicable · Our acquisition documentation, as agreed under NDA.

§ 6.2

What we do not accept

Payment after testing at the buyer's premises in place of escrow. Testing beyond the inspection scope can be agreed, but it happens after release, at the buyer's risk, or under a separate acceptance clause with its own escrow tranche.
